Nikitas Angelinas, Seagate


Nikitas Angelinas has been an embedded software and Linux developer since 2007. He is currently a Staff Software Engineer with Seagate, serving as the development team leader for its ClusterStor Secure Data Appliance. He has worked as a Lustre filesystem developer with Xyratex between 2011 and 2013, before its acquisition by Seagate and has since been an occasional Lustre contributor; he has also worked on various other embedded, Linux and filesystem-related projects during his tenure with Xyratex. Prior to this, he served as an embedded software engineer in the automotive sector with Omitec, who has since been acquired by Continental. He is also an individual contributor to the Linux kernel. He holds a BEng in Computer Engineering from the University of Plymouth, UK, 2004, and an MSc in Embedded Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Northumbria, UK, 2006.
