Francis Dequenne




An alumnus of the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), Francis Dequenne works for the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), a World-Class research organisation at the leading edge of weather prediction. Since 1987, Francis has been involved first in the support, then in the design and architecture, of ECMWF's Data Handling System, which now provides over 100PB repository of meteorological data, widely used across Europe and the world.
