Joe Swartz, Lockheed Martin

Joe is currently program chief scientist and has 28+ years of experience working extensively with high performance computing (HPC) in both R&D modeling and simulation efforts and production near real time processing environments. His experience includes developing algorithms for HPC systems, developing computationally efficient codes from the algorithms, code optimization and parallelization of new and existing codes.

In addition, Joe has 18+ years’ experience designing and leading development efforts to create and certify hardened Multi-Level Security (MLS) Operating Systems (OSs) currently working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.
