Chris Beecroft, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory


Chris Beecroft is the team lead for the Data Management group at DOE's Joint Genome Institute (JGI). Over the last eight years he has created and managed JGI's JAMO system (JGI Archive and Metadata Organizer). Mr. Beecroft has 30 years of experience working on data management systems in K-12 education, contingent workforce management, and scientific hardware sales. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from CSU East Bay and is currently finishing a Masters of Information and Data Science at UC Berkeley.
