Invited Track Speaker

Brian Bramlett, Twist Bioscience

Brian has over 30 years experience in strategy and technology development, starting in semiconductor fabrication, and extending through microprocessor and computing system design. Over the last decade, his focus has been in biotech, and the interaction between semiconductors/computing and biology from sensing, to analytics, to manipulating DNA at a molecular scale. Starting in 2013, Brian was Intel’s Technical Advisory Board member to the Semiconductor Research Corporation’s SemiSynBio effort, funding pre-competitive research at the intersection of semiconductors and synthetic biology, including DNA Memory. In 2017, Brian joined Twist Bioscience, the leader in gene synthesis for synthetic biology and leading supplier of DNA for memory research.
