Stephen Richards

Stephen Richards has worked in the data storage for over 30 years as a developer and as an analyst. Currently leading of the Data Handling Team at the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), a world renowned research centre for meteorology. Previously with Cray Research integrating the STK Powderhorns, then freelancing with Grau Automation writing the Unix front-end to their tape libraries, and with ECMWF to develop the ECFS file system. Becoming a fulltime staff member at ECMWF in 2007.
